Conductive vial electromembrane extraction – Principles and practical operation
نویسندگان
چکیده
Electromembrane extraction (EME) is a microextraction technique where charged analytes are extracted from an aqueous sample solution, through liquid membrane, and into acceptor, under the influence of external electric field. The membrane few microliters organic solvent immobilized in polymeric support membrane. EME green provides high selectivity. selectivity controlled by direction magnitude field, chemical composition pH. Recently, commercial prototype equipment for was launched based on use conductive vials, interest expected to increase. current article tutorial discusses principle practical work with EME. information related but valid also other technical configurations intended give readers fundamental understanding EME, which required method development operation, avoiding common pitfalls.

Electromembrane extraction from biological fluids.
Electro-assisted extraction of ionic drugs from biological fluids through a supported liquid membrane (SLM) and into an aqueous acceptor solution was recently introduced as a new sample preparation technique termed electromembrane extraction (EME). The applied electrical potential across the SLM has typically been in the range of 1-300 V. Successful extractions have been demonstrated even with ...
متن کاملElectromembrane extraction–Recent trends and where to go
Electromembrane extraction (EME) is an analytical microextraction technique, where charged analytes (such as drug substances) are extracted from an aqueous sample (such as a biological fluid), through a supported liquid membrane (SLM) comprising a water immiscible organic solvent, and into an aqueous acceptor solution. The driving force for the extraction is an electrical potential (dc) applied...
متن کاملElectroextraction and electromembrane extraction: Advances in hyphenation to analytical techniques
Electroextraction (EE) and electromembrane extraction (EME) are sample preparation techniques that both require an electric field that is applied over a liquid-liquid system, which enables the migration of charged analytes. Furthermore, both techniques are often used to pre-concentrate analytes prior to analysis. In this review an overview is provided of the body of literature spanning April 20...
